INSTALLATION

1. The tool should be secured to a work table with four hexagon bolts.
Select an appropriate location to securely fasten to tool that is solid,
stable and level.
NOTE: Avoid placing the unit in direct sunlight or in an environment
that is damp or dusty.
2. Drill four pilot holes in the worktable that match the mounting holes
of the unit.
NOTE: When choosing the location to secure the tool to, consider the
Y-axis and X-axis hand wheels and make sure that there is enough room to freely manipulate the hand wheels.
INSTALLATION AND REMOVAL OF THE TAPERED SHANK

CAUTION! Remove the unit from its power source before changing
any accessories.

1. Remove the protective cover.
2. Clean off the spindle and tapered shank.
3. Insert the tapered shank into the spindle.
CAUTION! Use heavy duty gloves or an oiled cloth when handling the cutter to protect the cutter as well
as the user.
4. Insert the fixing pin into the spindle.
5. Use the #14 open end wrench to tighten (clockwise) the spindle nut, fastening the tapered shank.
6. Remove the fixing pin.
7. Reinstall the protective cover.
