Entering Information

Overview

Entering information into your Yap Jack Pro is easy once
you understand how to use the telephone keypad.
This chapter describes how to:

Using the Telephone Keypad

Using the telephone keypad to enter digits, letters and
characters is similar to entering information into a cellular
phone address book.
To use the telephone keypad:
1.
Pick up your telephone handset, or turn on your
telephone.
2.
Press the appropriate keys the appropriate
number of times to enter the numbers, letters or
characters, depending on the entry field.
For example: To enter the @ sign, press the 1
key twice.
To enter G, press the 4 key five times.
The characters that you enter display on the
Yap Jack Pro LCD screen. Remember to
keep looking at the LCD as you enter.
Use the Telephone Keypad Map on the next
page as a guide until you learn the entry
system.
You can enter a maximum of 16 characters
and spaces in each text field.
