Using the down ( ) button, move to the >Lock
Menus menu option, and then select it by
pressing the OK button.
The Lock Menus selection field displays.

Use the up ( ) button to select Yes, and then
select it by pressing the OK button.
The display will read Password Not Set
Press Any Key.
4.
Press any button on the Yap Jack Pro.
The New Password entry field displays.
5.
Pick up your telephone handset, and, using your
telephone keypad, enter the password you would
like to set.
6.
Press the OK button to save the password.
The Confirm Password entry field displays.
7.
Using the telephone keypad, enter the password
again.
8.
Press the OK button to save the password.
The display reads Enter Password
Password Saved.
Once the password is set and you press the Menu/Exit
button, you will be prompted for the password. Just pick
up the telephone handset and enter the password using
the telephone keypad. Then press the OK button. The
menu will then display on the LCD.
To change the password, simply go to the Advanced
Setup menu, select Administration and then Change
Password. The device will prompt you to enter the
current password before setting the new one.

Testing Your ISP Connection

Although not required, it is recommended that you have
the Yap Jack Pro test the ISP connection before you place
your first call.
To test your ISP connection:
1.
When Yap Jack Pro * Ready * is displayed
on the LCD, press the Menu/Exit button.
2.
Using the down ( ) button, move to the >Self
Test menu option, and then select it by pressing
the OK button.
The device will attempt to connect to your ISP
