Basic Setup

Basic Setup enables you to enter the following Yap Jack
Pro account information:
Field Name
Language
Account
Configuration
(sub-menu)
ISP Configuration
(sub-menu)
Connect Options
Connection Time

Change the LCD and voice
prompts from English to
French or Spanish.
Enter Net2Phone account
information into the Yap Jack
Pro.
Enter dial-up information for
your primary and backup ISPs
If Disconnect is selected
(default), the Yap Jack Pro will
disconnect from your ISP after
each call. If you select Stay
Connected, you will be able to
make and/or receive multiple
calls and the Yap Jack Pro will
stay connected to your ISP for
the time period specified in the
Connection Time setting or
until you disconnect manually
by pressing the Menu/Exit
button.
If you select Stay Connected
as your Connect Option, then
you can enter the number of
minutes you want the device to
stay connected to the ISP.
Enter 0 if you want the device
to stay connected
permanently, and the limit,
short of permanent, is 99. The
default setting is 20 minutes.
