14.When the Reconfigure Memory Status is Failed(Code-02: Failure
of Reconfigure Memory), perform steps
Code-02 occurs when the drive restoration processing starts in the
background.
15.When the Reconfigure Memory Status is Failed(Code-04: Failure
of Reconfigure Memory), click the Resource of the Explorer menu,
then Arrays to return to the Arrays screen.
Code-04 occurs when the unwritten data in the cache memory cannot
be saved to the drive.
16.Select the array in which you will install TCE, click Reboot Array.
17.When the Reconfigure Memory Status is Failed(Code-03: Failure
of Reconfigure Memory), ask the Support Center to solve the
problem.
Code-03 occurs when the copy of the management information in the
cache memory fails.
18.Installation of TCE is now complete.
To install TCE with rebooting
1. In the Navigator 2 GUI, click the check box for the array where you want
to install TCE, then click Show & Configure Array.
2. Under Common Array Tasks, click Install License. The Install
License screen displays.

3. Select the Key File or Key Code radio button, then enter the file name
or key code. You may browse for the Key File.
4. Click OK.
5. Click Confirm on the screen that appears, requesting a confirmation to
install TCE option.
6. Click Reboot Array to install the TCE option.
7. A message appears confirming that this optional feature is installed.
Mark the check box and click Reboot Array.
The restart is not required at this time if it is done when validating the
function. However, in the case where the installation of TCE was
completed before TCE is installed, the dialog box, which asks whether or
not to do the restart, is not displayed at this time because the restart
was done to ensure the resource for the data pool in the cache memory.
When the restart is not needed, the installation of the TCE function is
completed.
If the array restarts because of a spin-down instruction when Power
Saving, the spin down may fail if the instruction is received immediately
after the array restarts. When the spin-down fails, perform the spin-
