9.5.3 Special Inspection Mode

The start-up method in the special inspection mode for Artisan 837/730/PX830FWD/
PX730WD/TX730WD differs from that for the others.
Start the printer following the procedure below and then carry out the inspection in the
special inspection mode.
The inspections necessary to start the printer in the special

When starting Artisan 730/PX730WD/TX730WD in the special
inspection mode, take the necessary procedure within 60
seconds after turning the power off. If 60 seconds or more pass
after turning the power off, turn it on once again, then turn it
back off and take the necessary procedure within 60 seconds to
start the printer in the special inspection mode.
Press the Power button to exit from the special inspection mode.
The following screen appears when the Power button is pressed,
and the power turns off if the button is kept pressed again.

If one of the modes in the menu
entered by pressing the OK button, you cannot go back to the
screen (Fig. 9-71) again. To return to the screen
the power off once, and start the printer in the special inspection
mode once again.

than eight seconds.

2. When turning the printer on in the special inspection mode, the following
screen appears on the LCD. Take the necessary inspection.
