If Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) is enabled, the BluStar automatically configures all of the network set-
tings. If the BluStar 8000i cannot populate the network settings, or if DHCP is disabled, you can set the network options
manually.

Description
Enables or disables DHCP. Enabling DHCP populates the required network information. The DHCP server pro-
vides the network information that the BluStar 8000i requires. If the BluStar 8000i is unable to get any required
information, then you must enter it manually. DHCP populates the following network information:
IP Address, Subnet Mask, Gateway, Domain Name Servers (DNS), HTTP HTTPS, TFTP, and FTP servers, and Timer
Servers.

IP address of the BluStar 8000i. To assign a static IP address, disable DHCP.

Subnet mask defines the IP address range local to the BluStar 8000i. To assign a static subnet mask, disable
DHCP.
For example, subnet mask: 255.255.255.224

The IP address of the network's gateway or default router IP address. To assign a static Gateway IP address, dis-
able DHCP.
