Touch Screen Basics
To Add a Contact to Your Favorites:
1. In the telephone feature controls, touch the contacts button.
2. Touch the arrow on a contact button to open the contact's information screen.
3. Touch the add to favorites button.
4. Touch done.
You will now see your contact in your favorites menu on the home screen.
To Remove a Contact from Your Favorites:
1. In your favorites menu, touch the arrow on a contact button to open up the contact's information screen.
2. Touch the delete favorite button.
The contact has been removed from your favorites.
To Save a Conference to Your Favorites:
1. In a conference call of two or more, touch the conf menu button on the control bar.
2. Touch the saved conf button.
3. Click on a conference folder at the top of the screen.
4. Touch the add saved conference to favorites button.
To Go to the Home Screen:
1. Touch the home or the favorites button
OR
the home key.
Adding Apps to the Home Screen
You can customize the applications (apps) that appear on your home screen. The BluStar 8000i has several apps that you
can open and/or add to your home screen, and you can display up to three apps at one time. From the app menu, users
can easily add or replace apps to one of the three frames on the home screen.
To Add Applications to the Home Screen
1. Touch the app menu button.
2. Touch the app you want to add to the home screen.
3. Touch inside a frame (with or without an app) outlined in green to place the app.
Note:
Only frames that can display a particular app will be outlined in green. For example, the clock app is only designed for
the top frame on the home screen, so you wont be able to place it in one of the smaller frames.
