General

This group contains some parameters to allow the device to be identified.
There is an additional parameter that allows the user to enter a message that will be displayed on
the local display. This parameter is not available when the General parameters are being entered
in the Guided Setup mode but it is available if the page is visited in the unguided mode, as shown
in the Figure 5.
Short Tag: A tag used to identify or characterize the transmitter with a maximum of 8
characters from the HART Packed ASCII character set.
