Inclines and Downhill Slopes

The T4 has a maximum incline climbing capability of 18%.
When climbing inclines the following warning advice should be followed without fail.
ATTENTION! Risk of tipping over
 Drive downhill at 2/3 of the max. speed!
When driving downhill avoid abrupt driving manoeuvers such hard braking or
rapid acceleration!
 Before driving up inclines, set the backrest to the upright position and the seat tilt
mechanism to horizontal! We recommend that before driving down inclines
the backrest and the seat tilt mechanism (if present) should be inclined slightly
backwards.
 When the lift (if present) is raised, the drive mode serves only for positioning
and not for normal driving mode! Before driving uphill, lower the lift!
 Avoid driving uphill and downhill on smooth surfaces or where there is the
risk of slipping (wet surfaces, black ice, etc.)!
 Avoid dismounting on inclines or downhill slopes!
 Drive the route in a straight line, do not zig-zag!
 Do not try to turn on inclines or downhill slopes!

Parking and Standstill

When parking the vehicle or if it is to standstill for a long time:
 Switch off the power supply on the control panel (ON / OFF button).
