FIELD TITLE and DATA ENTRIES
∗16
CONFIRMATION OF ARMING DING (partition-specific)
0 = disable
1 = enable
If enabled, produces ½-second external alarm sounding ("ding") at the end of exit delay (or after kissoff from the central
station, if sending closing reports), when the panel is armed Away or Max from a keypad, schedule, or remotely.
NOTE: If using a wireless key, when the button is pressed, either for arming or disarming, the bell will ding indicating that
the
button is working. Also, there will be only a brief exit warning when arming with a wireless key.
Open/Closing Reporting Notes:
• If closing reports are being sent the ding will happen after kissoff.
• If closing reports are going to both phone numbers, the ding will sound once after kissoff from the primary phone
number and once after kissoff from the secondary phone number.
• If Confirm of Arming ding is enabled and you use a wireless wireless key to arm the system you will get a ding
immediately upon arming, another ding at the end of the exit delay time or closing kissoff, and a ding whenever the
fob is used to Disarm.
• When global arming and using open close reports on all partitions the sounder will acknowledge one tone for EVERY
open and close it receives.
• With open/close reporting not enabled, the confirmation of arming dings at the end of the exit delay for each
partition. If all partitions have the same exit delay and you global arm you will only get one ding.
UL
MUST BE 1 FOR UL INSTALLATIONS.
∗17
AC Loss Keypad Sounding
0 = disable
1 = enable
Enabled: Gives rapid beeping trouble sound after 2 minutes of actual AC loss. (Silenced by pressing any key on the
keypad.)
Disabled: There will only be an AC Loss display on the keypad, with no sound.
∗19
Randomize AC Loss Report
0 = disable
1 = enable
Enabled: the AC Loss, AC Restores, and Log randomizes AC loss reporting between 10 and 40 min. after an actual AC loss.
Disabled: AC loss reporting about 2 minutes after actual AC loss.
Selecting this option helps prevent an overload of AC loss messages at the central station during a community blackout.
Relay Activation Notes:
To throw a relay upon AC Loss Detection, the following rules apply:
1. Programmed as a start parameter, the output follows the dialer for AC loss.
2. If AC loss reporting is randomized, the Output will follow this randomized time.
3. If you set the panel for normal AC loss reporting, the panel dials within about 2 minutes of AC loss and the Output will
activate at the same time.
∗20
VIP Module Phone Code
1-9 = first digit of access code
∗ or # = second digit of access code (enter 11 for "∗", or 12 for "#")
Not Used.
UL
MUST BE DISABLED FOR UL INSTALLATIONS.
∗21
Prevent Fire Timeout
0 = disable (timeout)
1 = enable (no timeout)
Enabled: No sounder timeout for all fire zones, regardless of partition, so that fire sounding continues until the system is
reset.
Disabled: The normal burglary sounder duration (field ∗13) applies to fire alarms.
∗22
Keypad Panic Enables (partition-specific)
