Tube Replacement Procedure
Performing a regular boiler inspection will prolong the life of the heat exchanger, and

1. Shut off power to the boiler immediately from the external, dedicated electrical
disconnect.
2. Confirm that any water leakage is not the result of a blocked condensate drain line.
3. Remove the boiler's left side jacket panels and flue collector access panels as shown in
Figure 8.
4. Visually inspect the burner and furnace pass insulation for water damage. If significant
water damage to the insulation or burner is observed, contact the manufacturer.
5. Identify any leaking tubes.
6. Isolate and drain the boiler completely.
2. Use the proper tools. Use the following tools to remove and replace leaking boiler tubes:
1. Tube Puller (P/N 106019-02)
2. Tube Driver (P/N 106019-01)
3. Sledgehammer (steel head, approximately 3 lb)
