Configuring PFL Mode
On the 664, the PFL switch has two modes for soloing input signal to headphone
monitors. By default, the mode is set to pre-fade. However, the PFL switch may
be configured so that soloing follows ISO track.
To set the PFL mode:
1. Press the MENU button.
2.
Turn and press the Headphone encoder to select INPUTS > PFL Mode.
3.
Use the Headphone encoder to select a mode: PreFade or Follow ISOs.
Configuring Input to ISO Routing
By default, inputs 1-6 are routed to its associated ISO track pre-fade, in which
case the fader does not affect the signal on the ISO track. This routing can be
configured (on a per-input basis) to be post-fade, meaning the fader does affect
the signal on the ISO track.
To individually configure Input ISO Routing:
1. Access the Input Settings screen, using the corresponding PFL switch for
the input (1-6) you want to configure.
2.
Press the Select encoder to select either ISO Prefade or ISO Postfade option.
Input to ISO Routing for inputs 1-6 also affects the pre- or post-fade status of
i
those inputs' routing to AES digital tracks.
Configuring Input Mode for PFL
By default, access to PFL soloing and the Input Settings screen for inputs 1-6
can be achieved with one hand. This is called 6-Channel mode.
Solo (PFL) for inputs 1-6 while in 6-Channel mode:
Slide PFL switch left.

While soloing, PFL # will appear in the lower right corner of the LCD, next to the
headphone icon, with # being the number of the input. For instance, when solo-
ing PFL for input 1, PFL 1 will appear on screen.
Simultaneous PFL of multiple inputs (1-6) is also possible by sliding one PFL switch
i
after another to the left. When multiple input PFLs are engaged, PFL MORT appears
in the lower right corner of the screen. Slide each switch again to deactivate.
Access inputs 1-6 Input Settings screens while in 6-Channel mode:
Slide PFL switch right.
