Conventions Used for Hardkeys, Softkeys, and Menu Items
The following conventions are used in this document:

Operating the Analyzer With Covers Removed
CAUTION
Do not operate the analyzer with the outer cover removed for more than
30 minutes, as this could cause the analyzer to overheat which could result in
costly damage.
Protect Against Electrostatic Discharge (ESD)
This is important. If not properly protected against, electrostatic discharge can seriously
damage your analyzer, resulting in costly repair.
CAUTION
To reduce the chance of electrostatic discharge, follow all of the
recommendations outlined in
page
1-6, for all of the procedures in this chapter.
Assembly Replacement Sequence
After identifying the problem requiring an assembly to be replaced, follow these steps:
Step 1. Order a replacement assembly. Refer to
