When using Microsoft Visual Studio 6.0
The procedures for referencing the DLL differ for Visual
Basic 6.0 and Visual C++ 6.0.
In Microsoft Visual Studio 6.0, the KeysightV3500A.tlb file must referenced
in its install location — a reference to a local copy placed in your project
directory cannot be used.
Adding a reference (Visual Basic 6.0)
1 Select Reference menu in your Visual Basic 6.0 project
under Project menu. The References dialog box will
open.
The default setup places the KeysightV3500A.tlb file in the following
folder: C:\Program Files\Keysight\Keysight V3500A
Driver.
2 Use Browse to locate the installation directory.
3 Select "KeysightV3500A.tlb".
4 Click Open.
5 Verify that the V3500A driver has been added (is
checked).
6 Click OK.
