Message Buffer API Specification

This section describes the ioctl commands used to access the receive or transmit message buffer

registers. The commands are prefixed with MSCANMB to notify user that a different module

identifier is used.

For the receive message buffer, use the MSCAN_RB identifier

For the currently selected transmit buffer, use the MSCAN_TB identifier (see more details about

buffer mapping in the MSCAN_SELECT_TXBUFF or MSCAN_SELECT_NEXT_TXBUFF ioctl

command description).

For a custom message buffer located in the memory (memory block copied-out of the receive buffer,

or prepared to be copied into the transmit buffer), use the memory buffer address "casted" to

arch_sMSCAN_MB pointer type.
