3. Front Post, Front Post Cover, and Tension Control Knob Installation
Remove four M8x10mm Bolts (74), four Ø16xØ8x1.5t Washers (10), one Ø20xØ8x2.0t
Washer (14), and one M8x15mm Bolt (19) from the Front Main Frame (1). Remove bolts
with the S6 Allen Wrench provided.
Slide the Front Post Cover (58) up to the Front Post (7).
Insert the Tension Cable (55) through into the bottom hole of Front Post (7) and pull it out
from the square hole of Front Post (7).
Connect the Sensor Wire (50) and Hand Pulse Sensor Extension Wires B (77) from the
Front Main Frame (1) to the Sensor Extension Wire (63) and Hand Pulse Sensor Extension
Wires C (78) from the Front Post (7).
Insert the Front Post (7) onto the tube of the Front Main Frame (1) and secure with four
M8x10mm Bolts (74), four Ø16xØ8x1.5t Washers (10), one Ø20xØ8x2.0t Washer (14), and
one M8x15mm Bolt (19) that were removed. Tighten bolts with the S6 Allen Wrench
provided.
Slide the Front Post Cover (58) down to the Front Post (7).
Remove the Ø5 Washer (41) and M5x20mm Bolt (40) from the Tension Control Knob (54).
Remove bolt with the Multi Hex Tool with Phillips Screwdriver provided.
Put the cable end of resistance cable of Tension Control Knob (54) into the spring hook of
Tension Cable (55) as shown in drawing A of figure 3. Pull the resistance cable of Tension
Control Knob (54) up and force it into the gap of metal bracket of Tension Cable (55) as
shown in drawing B of figure 3. Attach the Tension Control Knob (54) onto the Front Post (7)
with the Ø5 Washer (41) and M5x20mm Bolt (40) that were removed. Tighten bolt with the
Multi Hex Tool with Phillips Screwdriver provided.
