(For Administrators)
DESCRIPTION
Release 4.2.0 SP1 includes interoperability support for joining
and unjoining BroadSoft BroadWorks call centers using the
BroadSoft BroadWorks Xsi API. By configuring Xsi functionality
as well as a call center key, users are able to press the key to
toggle between joining and unjoining the respective call center.
*Applicable to all SIP phone models.
For more information, refer to the 6800 Series 4.2.0 SP1 SIP
Phone Administrator Guide.
Note: Originally implemented in Release 4.1.0 SP3.
Administrators have the ability in Release 4.2.0 SP1 to globally
remove the contextual Drop softkey that is displayed when on any
active call.
* Applicable to the 6867i, 6869i, and 6873i.
For more information, refer to the 6800 Series 4.2.0 SP1 SIP
Phone Administrator Guide.
Note: Originally implemented in Release 4.1.0 SP2.
The "confxfer live dial" parameter has been augmented to
provide greater flexibility. An additional value is now available
that enables live dial mode in conference and transfer scenarios,
but does not match the number to the local dial plan.
*Applicable to all SIP phone models.
For more information, refer to the 6800 Series 4.2.0 SP1 SIP
Phone Administrator Guide.
Note: Originally implemented in Release 4.0.0 SP4 HF6.
With certain networks, a Session Refresh is required to be
performed by the User Agent Client (UAC). To accommodate
this, a new configuration parameter "sip force uac session
refresh" has been introduced.
When the parameter is enabled and an incoming initial INVITE
with a Session-Expires header with no refresher parameter is
received, the Session-Expires header and the refresher=uac
parameter are added to the 200 OK response, ensuring the
refresh is performed by the call initiator.
*Applicable to all SIP phone models.
For more information, refer to the 6800 Series 4.2.0 SP1 SIP
Phone Administrator Guide.
Note: Originally implemented in Release 4.1.0 SP3.
