In additiQn to the factors noted previously, there may
be others of equal or greater importance - factors
that may be completely unrelated to the particular
data file under study. Some typical factors are the
storage cost of many cards versus one disk, man-
agement's wishes, and the desire to train program-
mers in disk techniques.
