GRAPHIC DISPIA Y

A second means of graphic display may be obtained

by attachment of the IBM 2250 to the 1130 system.

The 2250 is an electronic (cathode ray tube) device,

IBM 2250 Display Unit

and therefore capable of faster speeds than the

1627 Plotter, a mechanical device. A "light pen"

enables the operator to communicate with the

system by interacting with the display on the face

of the tube.
