Loc Analog Loop
Loc Analog Loop performs a local analog loopback
(ITU-T V.54 Loop 3), Figure 8-1, that verifies modem
operation as well as the connection between the DTE and
modem. The modem must be offline to perform this test,
otherwise Invalid Command appears.
To access Loc Analog Loop from the Test branch,
make the following selections:

Press any function key to start this test.

The message Started appears on the LCD, and the Test
LED (Model 3810 and Model 3811) lights for the duration
of the test.
If the Test Timeout configuration option is enabled,
Test Timeout appears at the conclusion of the test. If it is
disabled, the test operates until aborted. For more
information on the Test Timeout configuration option,
refer to the Tests section in Chapter 9.
A Ring Indicate during this test can cause errors.
To exit this function and remain in the Test branch,
press the
key. To exit and return to the Top-Level
menu, press the
key.
