Serial ATA Port 0~ Port 5
This item displays the information detected on the installed SATA drives on the
particular SATA port.
Display of drive number and capacity as detected by the BIOS
Software Preserve Support
Port 0~ Port 5
Select Enabled to enable a SATA port specifi ed by the user. The options are
Disabled and Enabled.
Hot Plug
This feature designates this port for hot plugging. Set this item to Enabled for
hot-plugging support, which will allow the user to replace a SATA drive without
shutting down the system. The options are Enabled and Disabled.
Spin Up Device
On an edge detect from 0 to 1, set this item to allow the PCH to start a
COMRESET initialization to the device. The options are Enabled and Disabled.
SATA Thermal Throttling Timing (Available for SATA Port 0/Port 1 only)
Use this item to confi gure the interactive settings for thermal throttling. The
options are Solid State Drive, Hard Disk Drive and Auto.
PCIe/PCI/PnP Confi guration
Above 4G Decoding (Available if the system supports 64-bit PCI decoding)
Select Enabled to decode a PCI device that supports 64-bit in the space above 4G
Address. The options are Enabled and Disabled.
SR-IOV Support (Available if the system supports Single-Root
Virtualization)
Select Enabled for Single-Root IO Virtualization support. The options are Enabled
and Disabled.
Maximum Payload
Select Auto to allow the system BIOS to automatically set the maximum payload
value for a PCI-E device to enhance system performance. The options are Auto,
128 Bytes, 256 Bytes, 512 Bytes, 1024 Bytes, 2048 Bytes, and 4096 Bytes.
