4.69 Clock mode
Straightforward time synchronization of the controllers in the system.
Clock operation is an important setting for time and date synchronization if several
controllers are interconnected to form one system.
Setting range
0...3
In each system, one of the controllers must be set as the system clock (setting 3).
The setting will change the action of the system time on the controller's time setting
(settings on lines 1 to 4).
Entry:
0 Autonomous clock
The time settings on the device can be adjusted.
The controller's time settings will not be matched to
the system time.
1 System time
The time settings on the device cannot be adjusted.
The controller's time settings will automatically and
continuously be matched to the system time.
2 System time with adjustment
Time settings on the device can be adjusted and, at
the same time, adjust the system time since the
change will be adopted by the master.
The controller's time settings are still automatically
and continuously matched to the system time.
3 System clock (master)
Time settings on the device can be adjusted and, at
the same time, adjust the system time.
The controller's time settings are used for the system.
