Appendix III: Maintenance
The amplifier will require little in the way of routine maintenance, apart from
occasional routine checking of the fan outlets on the rear panel, and possible
cleaning of the foam inserts on the front panel.
The fans should be cleaned with the amplifier turned OFF. Simply brush any
debris collected off the rear guards with a soft brush (a half inch paintbrush is
ideal), whilst holding a vacuum cleaner nozzle over them.
Remove the front panel inserts by pushing them up vertically through the bottom
of the aperture. Shake or brush them to remove any dry collected particles and if
necessary, rinse them in warm water with a small amount of detergent. This will
remove any greasy build-up. Make sure they are thoroughly dry before
reinserting them!
Cleaning the casework should only be done with a cloth lightly damped with water
only. The use of chemical cleaners may damage the paint finish or dissolve
printing!
