2. Lift the clip on the rear of the flex module and slide the flex module cover to the rear to remove the cover.

3. If you are replacing an eSATA connector or IEEE 1394 connector, do the following:
a. Disconnect the eSATA connector or IEEE 1394 connector cable from the system board. See "Parts
on the system board" on page 6.
b. Press the two clips toward each other as shown and then pull the eSATA connector or IEEE 1394
connector out of the flex module.
