3 Basic usage
3.1

Print flow chart

The following flow chart illustrates the procedure for drawing with the printer.
Refer to each section as required.
1. Connect the power cable.
2. Set an ink cartridge.
3. Create print data.
Create print data with application software.
4. Turn the power ON and set the media.
5. Set up printing conditions.
6. Perform the printing.
NOTE NOTE
• Do not open the front cover during printing.
If the front cover is opened, printing will be interrupted.
Printing restarts if you close the front cover. However, you are not guaranteed to have high print
quality.
