7. Insert the new Wi-Fi card into the card slot on the Wi-Fi card adapter. Then, install the two screws to
secure the Wi-Fi card and connect the front and rear Wi-Fi antenna cables to the Wi-Fi card.

8. Reinstall the Wi-Fi card adapter. See "Replacing a PCI Express card" on page 116.
9. If the Wi-Fi card supports the Bluetooth function, use a Bluetooth cable to connect the Bluetooth
connector on the Wi-Fi card adapter to the system board.

Replacing the Wi-Fi antennas

Replacing the front Wi-Fi antenna
To replace the front Wi-Fi antenna, do the following:
1. Remove any media from the drives and turn off all connected devices and the computer. Then,
disconnect all power cords from electrical outlets and disconnect all cables that are connected to the
computer.
