If the take-up reel has turned without engaging
FRONT LOAD
the tape for a specific period of time during the
tape start or end processing operation while
ERROR
loading is being performed (at the half position),
the AUTO OFF lamp lights, and the message
display blinks.
VTR: Stops.
Set the POWER switch to OFF and then back to
ON again.

If, after the cassette has been inserted, the tape
take-up reel has not wound up the tape while the
W-UP REEL
total tape amount is not detected and while the
NOT ROTA
tape is traveling, the AUTO OFF lamp lights, and
the message display blinks.
VTR: Stops.
Set the POWER switch to OFF and then back to
ON again.

If, after the total tape amount has been detected,
the amount of tape wound up onto the take-up
WINDUP
reel and the amount of tape supplied by the
ERROR
supply reel differ to an abnormal extent while the
tape is traveling, the AUTO OFF lamp lights, and
the message display blinks.
VTR: Stops.
Set the POWER switch to OFF and then back to
ON again.

If the tape has not been wound up during
UNLOAD

If the error message display persists even after the
VTR has been shut down and started up again,
consult your dealer.
