Cleaning of glass ceramic plate
Glass ceramic plate is easy to clean, but requires regular care.
To avoid any problems, stick to the following instructions:
- Clean the glass ceramic plate after each use with a wet cloth and dishwashing liquid. Then
wipe it with a dry cloth. Make sure not to leave any cleaner residues on the surface.
- Once a week, clean the entire surface with a commercial cleaner for bright or chrome-plate
surfaces or with a special glass ceramic cleaner. The latter leaves a protective film on the
surface that provides extra protection against stains. Make sure that the plate is thoroughly
cleaned and wiped because residual cleaners might cause damage to the glass ceramic
surface.
- Remove the burnt sugar or melted plastics immediately, while still hot, with the blade and
then clean the surface with a cleaner as described above.
- Remove any grains of sand and similar material, which could damage the glass ceramic
plate.
Oven cleaning
Clean the oven interior immediately after each use, while the oven is still warm. Clean the
interior with warm soap solution and let it dry and ventilate. From time to time, clean the oven
with commercially available oven cleaners following the manufacturer's instructions and
making sure that the cleaner does not come in contact with painted, stainless steel and zinc
plated surfaces or with exposed heaters on the top of the oven.
Before cleaning, remove the lateral grate supports. Baking pans and pan guides are cleaned
with water and a commercially available cleaner.
To facilitate the oven cleaning, remove the oven door as follows:
1. Open the cover completely.
2. Pull the catch upwards (Figure 8).
3. Do this process for both hinges.
4. Lift up the cover slightly, pull towards the
outside smoothly. The cover will
completely come out.
5. To reinstall the door, proceed in
inverse order.
