1 – 5 – Shelf guide (racks)
INSTRUCTIONS FOR BEST PERFORMANCE AND COST-EFFICIENT USE
• For food preparation, use only the saucepans with flat, thick bottom, which will not get
deformed at high temperatures.
• Always select a saucepan with a diameter that fits the size of the heating zone, i.e. the
saucepan bottom and the heating zone diameters should be more or less equal (Figure 3).
• Make sure to place the saucepan in the centre of the heating plate (zone).
• Make sure that both the glass ceramic surface and the saucepan bottom are clean:
residual food (particularly the food containing sugar), residual cleaning agents, sand grains
and similar dirt will burn into the surface and damage it.
• Always cook in a covered saucepan making sure that the lid fits well.
• For meals requiring long cooking time, use pressure cookers.
• Save the energy by switching off the heating zones and oven a couple of minutes before
the cooking is done to allow the food to finish cooking on the residual heat.
