Steps
1.
Align the tabs on the hard drive carrier with the slots on the hard drive blank.
2.
Pull the edges of the carrier to fit over the hard drive blank.
3.
Lower the hard drive carrier onto the hard drive blank to secure it.

Removing a hard drive carrier from the hard drive tray

Prerequisites

2.
Follow the procedure listed in the Before working inside your system section.
3.
From the management software, prepare the hard drive for removal. Wait until the indicators on the
hard drive carrier signal that the hard drive can be removed safely. For more information, see the
