Steps
1.
Align the PCIe card holder with the notches and tabs on the power supply unit cage.
2.
Press the release tab and slide the PCIe card holder toward the front of the chassis until firmly seated.

Opening and closing the PCIe card holder latch

Prerequisites
1.
Follow the safety guidelines listed in Safety instructions section.
2.
Follow the procedure listed in the Before working inside your system section.

Steps
1.
To open the PCIe card holder latch, press the release tab.
2.
To close the PCIe card holder latch, rotate the latch clockwise until it locks.
NOTE: Before installing a full-length PCIe card, the PCIe card holder latch must be closed.
When the full-length PCIe card is installed, open the PCIe card holder latch. Before removing
the full-length PCIe card, you must close the PCIe card holder latch.
