The 64-xx has three different operating
modes: offline, online and report mode. The
display [A] shows the active operation mode.
After powering-on, the printer is in online
mode.
Display messages are quoted here in the
national language, if it is provided by the prin-
ter (otherwise in english). Refer to chapter 5
to learn how to change the language setting.
Online
The printer is ready to receive data. Print jobs
sent to the printer will be printed immediately.
One of the following display messages may
appear:
ONLINE 0 JOBS
ONLINE 0. JOBS
generated (--> point beside the 0).
ONLINE 3 JOBS
Restcount
labels to print.
ONLINE 3 JOBS
Stopped
print. Continue by pressing Feed.
Print contrast

The most important status messages:
(M: = measure)
5001: No punch detected. M: Check the ma-
terial settings; Clean the punch sensor;
Check the position of the punch sensor.
5002: Material end. M: Insert new ribbon;
Check the position of the material guiding.
5005: Cutter fault (if mounted). M: Check the
cutter sensor; Clean the cutter blades.
5008: Ribbon end. M: Insert a new ribbon roll.
5060: Stacker (if attached) full or Stacker-
covering open. M: Empty stacker, close
covering.
