Connecting the Battery

Procedure
1. Remove the battery cover from the battery box

2. Install the negative-battery cable to the negative (–)
battery terminal with a flanged bolt and flanged nut
(Figure 4).
3. Install the positive-battery cable to the positive (+)
battery terminal with a flanged bolt and flanged nut
(Figure 4).
4. Install the cover on the battery box and secure the
cover and box to the battery tray with the battery strap
(Figure 4).
