and nozzle capacity to determine the application rate.
Note: The application rate may also be determined by
using the
Nozzle Flow Rate Chart (page
chemical manufacturer's label of recommendation.
The examples below are based on the following information:
Average ground speed = 8.4 kph (5.2 mph)
Spray width = 2.7 m (108 inches)
Number of nozzles = 2
Nozzle capacity = 3.0 L/min (.79 gpm)
Note: The numbers 6 and 600 are constants used in the
formulas shown below.
