11. Upgrade
DV-302 can support three Software Upgrade methods: using an Auto Upgrading feature,
Manual Upgrading, and Software Download
11.1
Auto Upgrade
Once this feature set up, the Auto Upgrade Feature will automatically activate after rebooting.
Auto Upgrade use FTP protocol for software download. As soon as the internet service is
available, it will download the version file information first then it will try to download the
specific software if the specified version in the version file is different from current running
software version.
11.2
Manual Upgrade
Once enabled, Manual Upgrade can be conducted using a FTP or TFTP protocol. Using a
TFTP manual upgrade can update firmware and the voice announcement file separately (
manual upgrade can upgrade both firmware and the voice announcement file at the
same time).
To Manually Upgrade the Software using a TFTP, perform the following Steps:
1) Run the appropriate TFTP server or connect to the designated DV-302 Web Server
IP Address.
