By default, all incoming IP traffic from the WAN is blocked when the firewall is enabled.
However, some IP traffic can be accepted by adjusting the filters.
This is useful for the fact that the MAC address of a specific NIC card never changes, unlike its
IP address which can be assigned via DHCP server or hard-coded to various addresses over
time.

8.1.4 Port Filtering

The DV-302 can be configured to prevent local PCs from gaining access to the internet by
specifying port number used and protocol types that should be filtered.
To adjust port filtering:
1)
Port number can be entered as a range by entering the starting number and ending
number.
2)
Designate TCP, UDP, or Both protocols.
3)
Click on Apply to accept changes.
NOTE
If you specify specific port number at „Port Filtering‟ page, all Local PC
can‟t use a certain service which uses the specific port for service..
