8.2 Firewall
DV-302 has an embedded firewall application to protect Local Host from malicious access
attempt or attack through the Internet.
8.2.1 Web Filter
From the Web Filter screen, User can designate whether web-oriented cookies, java scripts,
and pop-up windows, etc. are blocked by embedded firewall.
For example, if the "Enable" radio button is clicked to activate "Filter Popup Windows," pop-up
windows will be not opened when any web site is accessed.
1) Proxy, Cookies, Java Applets: Block specified application.
2) Block Fragemented IP Packets: Block all fragemented packets
3) Port Scan Detection: Block port scan activation on both WAN and LAN
4) IP Flood Detection: Block IP Flooding attack on both WAN and LAN.
5) Firewall Protection: Turns on SPI.
