    Ethernet Control Function is used to process MAC, Ethernet protocol or IEEE 802.3 Protocol and perform ARP for TCP/IP communications with CSMA/CD data network. 3.9 FAX Relay Function The DV-302 FAX Relay function enables you to place and receive fax calls over a VoIP network in addition to voice calls. 3.10 STUN Function STUN is an abbreviated word of Simple Traversal of User Datagram Protocol (UDP) through Network Address Translators (NATs).

    4.1 Hardware Installation 4.1.1 Pre-Installation This section describes the hardware features and installation of the DV-302. It is handset-to- Internet adaptors that allow regular analog telephones to operate on IP-based telephony networks. DV-302 supports two FXS (Foreign Exchange Station) port and two Ethernet interfaces as integration of voice and data effectively fills up the data communication channels efficiently.

     Use only the power supply that comes with the DV-302.  Maintain a well-ventilated space for the DV-302, where the temperature is kept in the range of 0-40℃.  When removing or connecting cables, always unplug the DV-302 power.

The physical connection status is displayed as well. Provisioning means that an analog terminal adaptor can be configured automatically by receiving the necessary information from a pre-defined auto-provisioning server.

    DV-302 OPERATION MANUAL 6.3 Security The Security screen allows the configuration of administration access privileges and the ability to restore the factory default User ID and Password information to the system. When logging in to the system, the User will be prompted to enter the appropriate User ID and Password that coordinates with their access privilege for Authentication.

    DV-302 OPERATION MANUAL 7. Basic Configuration This section describes the basic system configuration to connect to the internet and set up the local network for PC. This main menu also includes other basic submenu for system administration such as SNTP and for Dynamic DNS (DDNS).

This can also be described as a computer or small sub-network that sits between the trusted internal private LAN, and the untrusted public Internet.

    DV-302 OPERATION MANUAL 8.3 Parental Control 8.3.1 User Setup Parental Control is used to control the Internet access by using content filter and ToD filter. Trusted computers can be designated with MAC addresses so all users can safely access the internet with the PC.
