5. Configuration
After installing the system as shown in service network diagram 8, you should assigh an IP
address on the connected PC between 192.168.0.2 and 192.168.0.254 to access the DV-302
using a Web browser if DHCP is not enabled on the DV-302.
There are two method to setup configuration for DV-302. One is a manualy configuration using
WEB menu and the other is an Auto-Provisioning which is more easy method to install it
automatically like pulg-n-play. Manual configuration permits assignment of all parameters
required to gain full operation of the DV-302. However, manual configuration is time
consuming and thus, intended only to augment the automated process and to allow
customizing user preferences.
In the next paragragh, we describe how to setup a dynamic IP address on Local PC when
DHCP server function is activated.
5.1 IP Configuration on PC
The DV-302 supports DHCP server function to assign a private IP to PCs. The User also can
assign an IP address manually such as 192.168.0.XXX.
To assign an IP address, perform the following:
1) Open "Control Panel" at the "Start" menu and Click on "Network Connection".
