3.3 Start-up Procedure
Perform the following steps to start up the dishwasher for first-time operation.
CAUTION:
Pe$orm the following checks before placing the m.achine into service.
1. Check the exterior of the machine for any foreign material, and remove.

NOTE:
To remove the dishwasher lif-out doors:
Grasp the handles and Zifi approximately 4".
Tilt th.e top of the door toward you and out of the door track.
2. Remove the lift-out doors.
3. Check the interior of the machine and remove any foreign material.

NOTE:
To install the upper and lower spray pipes:
Insert the pipe into its locking plate and turn 1/4 turn clockwise.
Each pipe has an O-ring on the end
of
its mangold.
4. Make sure the upper and lower spray arms are secure in the manifold
and all end plugs are in place.
5. Remove the scrap screens and make sure all overflow covers are down
and the pump intake screens are in place.
6. Replace the scrap screens.

NOTE:
Dishwasher curtains have long and shortflaps.
Be sure the shortflaps of all curtains face the load end of the machine.
Place long curtains at the load and unload ends of the dishwashel:
Place the short curtain at the end of the wash tank in the center of the dishwashel:
7. Make sure the curtains are in place.
8. Reinstall the lift-out doors.
9. Check the chemical injection system (if applicable).

Close the tank drain valves along the lower front of the machine.
11. Open the water supply valves. Check for leaks and take corrective action if required.
