• In TIMER STANDBY mode, each time the +/– button is pressed, the setting changes as follows;
1 oN/E oN: Both once and everyday timers are activated. (The

Only the everyday timer is activated. (The
1 oN/E _ _: Only the once timer is activated. (The
1 _ _/E _ _: Both timers are canceled. (The mark turns off.)
• When you set only the everyday timer, the indication changes between 1 _ _/E _ _ and 1 _ _/E oN.
• When you set only the once timer, the indication changes between 1 _ _/E _ _ and 1 oN/E _ _.
• When you complete the setting, the display automatically returns to the former state after 4 seconds.
• To change the settings of TIMER STANDBY, press MENU/SET button to set the unit in TIMER STANDBY mode first,
then use +/- button to make changes.

Example: Playing a compact disc with the once timer
Press the power operation switch to turn on the

Press the 5 (open/close) button and place a disc on

the disc tray. Close the disc tray.
Press the MENU/SET button to set the timer setting

Press the +/– button. The once timer is selected and

"ONCE" appears in the display.
