5 Troubleshooting
An unsupported XXXX (toner cartridge or drum cartridge) is installed.
Replace the XXXX.
The drum cartridge or toner cartridge is nearly empty. Prepare a new XXXX (drum
cartridge or toner cartridge) so that you can replace it when the message to replace it
is displayed. You can still print about another 1,000 pages for toner cartridge 4K,
about 750 pages for toner cartridge 1.5K, or about 1,120 pages for the drum
cartridge even when this message is displayed.
The specified toner cartridge or drum cartridge is either missing or not fully inserted
into the printer. Reinsert the specified XXXX cartridge.
The custom mode is selected. The prescribed functions and performances may not
be kept because the print quality is not guaranteed in the custom mode. Also, it may
cause the printer to malfunction. Use the toner cartridges which are recommended
by Fuji Xerox.

The specified toner cartridge or drum cartridge is not fully inserted into the printer.
Reinsert the specified XXXX carteidge.
When you install the printer for the first time, install the toner cartridge first and then
install the drum cartridge. Remove the drum cartridge once and then install the toner
cartridge. After that install the drum cartridge.
The specified toner cartridge or drum cartridge needs to be replaced. Replace the
specified XXXX cartridge.
The toner cartridge carrier does not rotate properly. Open the front door and check
that the toner cartridge is installed correctly.
The printer and the optional 250 sheet or 500 sheet feeder are not connected
correctly. Switch off the printer, reinstall the feeder correctly, then switch on the
printer again. If this does not solve the problem, contact our Customer Support
Center or your dealers.
The printer and the optional duplex unit are not connected correctly. Switch off the
printer, reinstall the duplex unit correctly, then switch on the printer again. If this does
not solve the problem, contact our Customer Support Center or your dealers.
