Checking Printer Status via Simple
Monitor
Simple Monitor is a tool to check the status of print jobs and the printer from your computer.
This tool can be installed on your computer from the CentreWare CD-ROM.
Note
• For details about installing the Simple Monitor, refer to the manual (HTML document) on the CentreWare
CD-ROM.
You can use the following Simple Monitor functions.
• When an error occurs on the printer while processing a print job, a dialog box opens to
and describes the problem on the computer's monitor.
• You can check the paper size that is loaded into the trays, the status of the output tray,
and the remaining amount of consumables such as toner cartridges and drum cartridge
on the following window.
Note
• The status of the printer on the network can be checked by starting CentreWare Internet Services from
this tool.
