Setup and RS232 Interface Test
1. Prepare 7 – CA-LCD2 Keypads as shown on page 44 and connect to Source IR
outputs number 1 through 7 and Com IR.
2. Connect the AX-6 to the CAA66 using the diagram below.
AX-6 Left and Right Input number 1 jacks connect to CAA66 Source Input 1
AX-6 Left and Right Input number 2 jacks connect to CAA66 Source Input 2
AX-6 Left and Right Input number 3 jacks connect to CAA66 Source Input 3
AX-6 Left and Right Input number 4 jacks connect to CAA66 Source Input 4
AX-6 Left and Right Input number 5 jacks connect to CAA66 Source Input 5
AX-6 Left and Right Input number 6 jacks connect to CAA66 Source Input 6
3. Plug speakers into the Zone number the KP6 is connected to.
If Keypad Port 1 is under test connect speakers to Zone Output for Speaker Port 1.
If Keypad Port 2 is under test connect speakers to Zone Output for Speaker Port 2.
If Keypad Port 3 is under test connect speakers to Zone Output for Speaker Port 3.
If Keypad Port 4 is under test connect speakers to Zone Output for Speaker Port 4.
If Keypad Port 5 is under test connect speakers to Zone Output for Speaker Port 5.
If Keypad Port 6 is under test connect speakers to Zone Output for Speaker Port 6.
