[2] DISASSEMBLING AND ASSEMBLING

(1) Separating Front Axle

Draining Front Axle Case Oil
1. Place the oil pans underneath the front axle case.
2. Remove the both right and left hand side drain plugs (2) and
filling plug (1) to drain the oil.
3. After draining, reinstall the drain plugs (2).
(When refilling)
• Fill with new oil up to the upper notch on the dipstick.
• After ten minutes, check the oil level again, add oil to prescribed
level.
IMPORTANT
• Use KUBOTA UDT or SUPPER UDT fluid or SAE 80, 90 gear
oil. Refer to "LUBRICNATS, FUEL AND COOLANT". (See
page G-8.)

(1) Filling Plug with Dipstick

Propeller Shaft Cover
1. Loosen the clamps and slide the propeller shaft cover (2) to the
rear.
(1) Clamp
Front Wheel and Drag Link
1. Place the disassembling stand under the front axle frame.
2. Remove the front wheels (2).
3. Remove the drag link (1) with a tie-rod end lifter.
(When reassembling)
IMPORTANT
• Do not loosen the slotted nut (3) to align the hole.
• Install the cotter pin as shown in the figure.
