Installing the TAPI Driver (only COMfortel 2600)

The TAPI driver enables you to use TAPI applications from the USB port on the
Auerswald USB device.
Note: Only Windows 7 and Windows 8/8.1 applications are supported.
Requirements
– Installation file (Setup.exe) stored on a storage medium (PC)
– Completed installation of the USB Driver

Start the installation file (Setup.exe) on the PC.
2.
Follow the instructions on the screen.

Installing the COMfortel Set Configuration Software

Requirements
– A PC meeting the system requirements (see chapter Important Information
> System Requirements,
– Installation file (comftelset.exe) stored on a storage medium (PC)
– Active connection of the PC to one of the following interfaces:


Note: The following steps describe the installation on the operating sys-
tems Windows 7/8/8.1. If using another operating system, refer to the doc-
umentation of your operating system.

Start the installation file (comftelset.exe) on the PC.
2.
Follow the instructions on the screen.
Note: During the installation of the COMfortel Set configuration software,
standard announcements for different answering machine functions are
copied to the PC in three different languages (German, English and Italian).
These are announcements for call acceptance STANDARD.wav, the
announcement for remote access REMOTE.wav and the announcement
for message forwarding FORWARD.wav.
