Display Setting Menu

Overview

This menu is used for setting the monitor condition such as the color reproduction or frame.
When Display Setting is selected, the following menu is displayed.

Function and operation ([
Sets the display device.
As the color space of the BVM-L230 is wider than that of the display device such as the CRT
monitor, the same color as the display devices selected in the Emulation menu can be
reproduced (the emulation function).
Sets the emulation function to reproduce the color (color space and gamma) according to the
display device.
BVM SMPTE-C: Reproduces the color of the BVM-A24 equipped with SMPTE-C
phosphor CRT.
BVM EBU: Reproduces the color of the BVM-A24 equipped with EBU phosphor CRT.
ITU-R BT.709: Reproduces the color of the display device with three primary colors
chromaticity point provided by ITU-R BT.709.
D-Cine*: Reproduces the color of the display device with three primary colors
chromaticity point provided by DCDM.
Wide: Reproduces the color with the BVM-L230 individual three primary colors
chromaticity point. This is the widest color space setting of the signal reproduced by the
BVM-L230
* Three primary colors chromaticity point provided by DCDM is not covered in full.
Sets the user data (User1 to User5) of Decoder Color Profile (transmission matrix and
transmission gamma).
As the signal is processed internally by the data setting of Decoder Color Profile, if the signal
is not set according to the transmission standards for the input signal, the signal may not be
displayed correctly.

Decoder Color Profile menu (page 45) of the Input Configuration menu.
