Overview

This menu is used for setting the monitor condition such as the color reproduction or frame.
When Display Setting is selected, the following menu is displayed.

Function and operation ([
As the PVM-L2300 is equipped with the wider color space backlight, the signal can be
displayed (emulation) in the color gamut (color space and gamma) selected in the Emulation
menu.
Sets the used color gamut (color space and gamma).
BVM SMPTE-C: Displays in the color gamut of BVM-A24 SMPTE-C phosphor CRT.
BVM EBU: Displays in the color gamut of BVM-A24 EBU phosphor CRT.
ITU-R BT.709: Displays in the color gamut of three primary colors chromaticity point
provided by ITU-R BT.709.
PVM-L2300 Native: Displays in the color gamut of the PVM-L2300 individual three
primary colors chromaticity point. This is the widest color space setting of the signal
reproduced by the PVM-L2300.
Sets the user data (User1 to User5) of Matrix/Gamma (transmission matrix and transmission
gamma).
As the signal is processed internally by the data setting of Matrix/Gamma, the signal may not
be displayed correctly, if the signal is not set according to the transmission standards for the
input signal.
For the transmission gamma and the transmission matrix of Matrix/Gamma, see the Matrix/
Gamma menu (page 50) of the Input Configuration menu.
Selects the user data of Matrix/Gamma.
You can select from User1 to User5. [User1]
Sets the transmission matrix.
[ITU709]: Matrix of ITU-R BT.709 standards
ITU601: Matrix of ITU-R BT.601 standards
SMPTE 240M: Matrix of SMPTE-240M standards
Note
The internal fixed value applies to the transmission matrix of the RGB format.
