4 Check the transfer roll assembly for contamination and
wear.
Is the above component free of excess wear and
contamination?
5 Check the aligner assembly for proper adjustment.
Go to "Operator panel door assembly removal
(T656)" on page 4-48.
Does the problem remain?
Check the heat roll and pressure roll.

Remove the fuser unit assembly.
Is there contamination or cracks on the heat roll and/or
pressure roll?
Check
CAUTION: : Allow
the fuser unit
assembly to cool
down.

Go to step 5. Replace the
transfer roll
assembly.

Go to step 6. Replace the
